To kill dust mites and their eggs, and help maintain a dust mite free sleeping environment, we recommend switching on under blanket to the maximum heat setting (6) for up to one hour on a weekly basis in both winter and summer. This will heat up your bed surface sufficiently to kill dust mites.

For normal use as a heated under blanket, simply choose from the 6 temperature settings using the slider control. Then use the timer selector to choose 1,3,6 or 12 hours. Your blanket will switch off automatically after the selected time. A patented SleepSafe Safety System ensures that it can't overheat.

The soft, fleecy surface of the blanket helps keep you comfy and warm as you sleep.

NB. Our Double size electric blankets can be purchased with either single control or dual control. Dual control gives you the option of selecting different temperatures on each side of the bed. Our King size and Super King size electric blankets both come with dual control as standard.

Top tips for a dust mite free bed:

1) Cover your mattress, pillows and duvet with dust mite proof covers. 

2) Air your bed after sleep to reduce humidity.
